On the evening of September 27th, the Wuhan National High Magnetic Field Center hosted a welcome party for the 2024 graduate students with the theme "A New Journey in Strong Magnetic Fields, Setting Sail for Dreams." The evening was filled with a variety of performances, including songs, skits, and martial arts demonstrations, creating a warm and lively atmosphere.

He Hao's heartfelt song "Flower Sea" captivated the audience with its delicate and gentle melody and deeply emotional lyrics, transporting everyone into a dreamlike world of emotions. The graduate student council's skit "Group Meeting While the Advisor Is on a Business Trip" was humorous and entertaining, filling the venue with laughter and applause. Teachers Song Zhengpan and Tu Yuting delivered a classic duet of "Letting Go," evoking a wave of nostalgia among the audience. Lu Yuting's solo performance of "Stars and Oceans" showcased her clear and powerful voice, conveying a sense of boundless strength. Zeng Weikang's performance of "Double Section Staff" was accompanied by lively music, demonstrating the charm of Chinese martial arts. The group performance of "Going to the Beach" by Mao Lin, Yuan Yang, Wang Jianfeng, and Lu Tang featured a relaxed and cheerful melody, exuding youthful vitality and stirring up everyone's longing for travel. Jiang Xunhuang and Cheng Jin's skit "Daytime Graduate Student" humorously depicted the everyday life and research experiences of graduate students, leaving the audience in stitches. Xu Kaihang and Zhang Kai's medley of "Christmas Bell" and "Lonely Christmas" skillfully blended Mandarin and Cantonese, offering a delightful audio-visual feast.

In addition to the splendid performances, the evening was interspersed with fun and engaging interactive games, such as "Hot Potato," "How Many Bowls of Hot Dry Noodles," "In Unison," and "Guess the Song Title."
